Krowand Essentials is the trade name of Hind Salem Bin Lasoud Est., a supplier of engineered wood boards based in Jeddah. This policy covers the personal data we handle through krowand.com, through WhatsApp, and through the quotation and payment links our sales team sends you.

We supply factories, contractors and workshops. Our yard is in Al Wadi, Jeddah, and you are welcome to come and inspect material during Sat to Thu, 8 AM to 6 PM. The site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We collect what we need to price your request, deliver it and invoice it. When you send a quote list from the site, a copy of the request reaches our sales team so a formal quotation can be prepared.

• Your details from the quote form: full name and phone number, plus company, WhatsApp number, email and VAT registration number if you choose to add them.
• Your quote list: the products and quantities you added, your preferred quotation language and any notes.
• Request context used to prevent abuse: the page the request was sent from and a keyed, truncated hash of your IP address (not the address itself).
• On the payment link: the name and phone number you confirm before paying.
• When you approve a quotation on the quotation link: the name on the quotation, your confirmation tick, the time of approval, and a keyed, truncated hash of your IP address (not the address itself).
• Order records: quotation and invoice references, amounts, VAT and the payment result reported by the gateway.

The contact form is not stored by this website. It opens a pre-filled WhatsApp chat in a new tab, and the conversation lives in WhatsApp. Card numbers are entered on the payment gateway page and never reach us.

• To prepare your quotation and answer you by phone or on WhatsApp.
• To arrange delivery across Saudi Arabia, or pickup from the yard in Al Wadi.
• To take payment through the gateway and issue an invoice carrying the details required under the Saudi VAT regime (ZATCA).
• To keep a record of how and when a quotation was approved.
• To keep the public forms usable: rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We use these details for the request in front of us. The parties listed in the next section are the only ones that receive them.

• WhatsApp (Meta): when you choose to open a chat, your number and message are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.
• Moyasar, a Saudi payment gateway: card payments are completed on its hosted checkout page.
• Supabase: the database behind the site and the sign-in used by our staff.
• Vercel: hosting for the website.
• Google Maps: only if you press the Load map button on our home or contact page. The map does not load on its own.

Beyond these, we share personal data only where the law or a competent authority requires it.

Requests, quotations and order records are held in our Supabase database, and the site itself runs on Vercel.

Anything you send us through WhatsApp is stored by WhatsApp as well, wherever it keeps its messages.

Tax law requires invoices and the records behind them to be kept for a statutory period, so paid orders stay on file longer than an unanswered enquiry.

The quote list and the details saved in your own browser are not on our servers. They stay on that device until you clear them.

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) you have rights over the personal data we hold about you.

• Ask what we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
• Ask us to delete details we are not required to keep.
• Withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on it to use your details.

Call 055 334 4811 or message 055 334 4811 on WhatsApp during Sat to Thu, 8 AM to 6 PM and we will handle your request. You may also raise a complaint with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the regulator for the PDPL.

• The site is served over HTTPS.
• The staff console is restricted to authenticated staff accounts.
• Quotation links and payment links use unguessable tokens. Payment links expire after 30 minutes, and a quotation can no longer be approved or paid after its validity date.
• Public endpoints are rate limited.

Card details are entered on the gateway page, so they are never stored in our systems.

When this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page and the date at the top changes with it. This version is dated 2026-09-24.

For anything in this policy, or a request about your data, call or message us during Sat to Thu, 8 AM to 6 PM. There is no email address for this site, phone and WhatsApp reach us fastest.
